Great place to visit even after covid

The avocado ud83eudd51 salad was just what I needed. The waitress was beyond kind and helpful. Overall a wondrous place with a fantastic dining experience!

The food was AMAZING and the staff were super nice! This is my new favorite place to eat in Brookings.

The appetizers were really good. The pasta bowls were bigger than I thought. A little pricey but good food. Would definitely go again. I couldn't decide between 4 or 5 because I don't go there that often and they can always improve.

On the three points that all restaurants should be judged I would rate this at a negative StarsnnTo the first point atmosphere and ambience it was just okay.nnSecond point being service negative Stars. The waitress seemed more interested in my order for me than she was in the complete order for me and my girlfriend. We ordered two seafood raviolis one with an addition of grilled chicken I also ordered a steak salad.nnWhen the food was brought out she only brought out my meal and salad and completely forgot my girlfriends as I was raised a gentleman I put my food off to the side and waited for my girlfriends to arrive it took 10 minutes.nnThe third point the food itself it was underwhelming uninspired and severely lacking. We compared it to some cheap off the shelf grocery store pasta the seafood flavor was muddled under the overuse of sauce the ravioli you could not taste the seafood within the ricotta was overly used and left one feeling as though they've been cheated I didn't even bother to finish my meal.nnAs to the drinks that we ordered when we first got there with our mail they were poorly prepared and the presentation was non-existent. My girlfriend never had before tasted a cosmo I suggested she give it a try it was so sour so infused with lemon that it was tart bitter and she did not wish to drink it. Me only to the fact that I had to drive that evening opted for one glass of wine I asked if they had a house wine in which I was informed they used some off the shelf of $8.50 per glass stuff this is the first high end restaurant that I have ever been to in my life that did not keep a respectable house wine in stock the wine they presented to me was bitter and tart it had a offensive bouquet no legs at all and the fill of it on your tongue would be the equivalent of drinking turpentine overall this restaurant failed and not only expectations but it's entire menu and staff it is an offensive front and insult to any fine diner
