We had SUCH an amazing (and safe!) experience at Callaghan this past weekend. We went wine tasting with friends, expecting that all vineyards would do tastings outside in the sun. Unfortunately, many did not. Instead, unmasked people were crammed into small tasting rooms - but NOT here.nnWe walked away from 3 different wineries due to safety reasons. We were overjoyed when we arrived at Callaghan and saw how seriously they took our safety. They met us at the start, had us choose our wines for tasting, and then we sat overlooking the gorgeous landscape. They delivered our tastings and we had a blast trying our selections. The sun was shining, a breeze was blowing, and the day (like most days in Arizona) was gorgeous. I SO VALUE that this vineyard respected us and our health so much. In fact, I bought a case of wine, will be joining the wine club, and will forever visit this family-owned winery because they put safety and security over their own financial interests.nnIf they respect their clients (and their family) enough to take these extra steps, that is a business I want to support.

Wow! Such an enjoyable experience. The wines were Fantastic! The favorite of the tasting was the bone dry sparkling white! Hints of lemon and pear that were thoroughly enjoyed! Full bodied reds; Syrah and cab were stand outs, but they all drank very well. If you are in the area, it is a must visit! Great outdoor patio as well.

Tasting the wines at Callaghan Vineyards is always the highlight of my trip to Elgin! It's easy to see why their wines are such award winners and have been served at the White House! It's nice that Kent Callaghan makes wines from light to full bodied, so there is something for everyone's palate. I appreciate the efforts they have made to create a safe environment for people who want to taste great wines yet want to stay safe and distanced. Keep it up, Lisa and Kent!

Thank you for taking the COVID precautions. We felt so safe unlike others vineyards we visited that same day. We understand that we were sacrificing some of the authentic experience, but felt assured that we would be back again in the future. Sitting outside in the sun to be able to enjoy the company we came with was magical. Thank you for caring about everyone and taking these precautions.

I had a wonderful time visiting Callaghan Vineyards. The wine is excellent but I really appreciate how the staff is taking covid precautions seriously. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon! Absolutely would do it all again!
