The San Rafael Valley and the surround area is amazing. The flora and landscape is definitely unique and unlike anywhere else in AZ.
Small historic landmark about a mile north of the Mexico Boarder. Worth stopping if you are on a backroads tour. Roads in the area are well graded and there is a prominent CBP presence in the area.
Historic place that more people should know of. Beautiful area. CBP was friendly.
It's a small memorial, but cool to see where the first European crossed the Rockies.
Decently smooth road. Beautiful views.
