Just waited in line for half an hour for the employee working alone to make two pizzas while listening to her tell the customers that she's been by herself since 11am, is working the same shift tomorrow, and doesn't care if she's slow or people leave because she's quitting anyway. I don't blame her for that, if she is expected to work in those conditions. Regardless, there were still two people in front of us and we didn't want to wait another half hour before we even had the chance to order, so we left. I've never had the pizza there and will never go back.
Editing original review from a 2 to a 4. We came back the next night and had a great experience. Great service and delicious pizza. I still think they should be open later on weekends, and I'd give them a 5!nnWe were excited to try this place out and shocked to find when we walked in at 7:55 that a pizza place xlosed at i on Friday!
This was our first time to 1000 degrees. The staff was very friendly and efficient and the restaurant was extremely clean. Loved how they put together the pizza right in front of us and there were many choices of toppings..also loved that the pizza was a flat price, you could have as many toppings as you'd like at no extra charge. I prefer white sauce over marinara so it was an extra plus that 1000 Degrees offers it. It took no longer than 8 minutes to walk in, order, and walk out with 2 fully baked pizzas! It really does only take 2-3 minutes to bake them. But the bottom line was we loved them! This is now our to go pizza place in Brookings!
Love the pizza, however, I have repeatedly gone in and (most) of the employees aren’t wearing masks. One employee told me flat out “we don’t require masks in here.” Ha! We are currently under a mask mandate. It is one thing to not enforce it but another for 90% of the employees to refuse to wear one. These people could be asymptomatic and infect the general public. I have reported them to the police (two days ago). My friend was in there tonight-no masks again. Totally done supporting this business. Respect and support works both ways!
Loved the 1000 degrees in Watertown. Went yesterday to Brookings 11/15/2020 and was very disappointed! I ordered 4 pizzas. We were the only ones in the store at the time. We waited 45 minutes for our pizza. The bottom was burnt and the rest was very doughy! Only one worker working at lunch hour on a Sunday is crazy! Will go again but will make sure this doesn't happen again!
