Weather was great. Lots of people buy still plenty of picnic area. Saw a kudamundi, wild turkeys and a deer

Definitely a must go... This canyon has much history as it was where trees were milled into lumber to build Tucson in the 1800s.. You WILL see all sorts of wildlife from deer, to raccoons, to the ever present wild turkeys... Plenty of picnic tables with grills..privacy and cooler temps.. I recommend Madera Canyon for a change of pace and nice relaxed atmosphere.

One of our favorite places to hike. Part of the hike is paved for wheelchair accessibility.
