This is a gem of a park. Amazingly well stocked camping store and marina store. We had an extremely fun camping weekend with a great little lake, birds and other wildlife for entertainment. Renting a pontoon boat to explore the lake was the highlight of the trip. Lots of fun. The camping area is arranged so that even when close to other sites you still can feel privacy. It was a bit chilly to enjoy swimming at the very nice beach area but that will happen later this year. We live in Tombstone and will be back!

Great trails around and near the lake! We took the Lower Loop. Very much appreciate that dogs are allowed. Area was pretty clean. Campgrounds looked pretty nice as well. $15 entrance fee for day use only seemed a little steep. But, there were more than enough places to sit and have a picnic, enjoy the lake or stream, and rest between hiking along.

This was our first time camping and hiking in Patagonia Lake State Park and we’ll definitely be back. The trails and scenery in and around the park are outstanding. Definitely go between October and May to avoid high temperatures on the trails. Bonus: you can bring your dog.

very small lake with hundreds of people. with a bonus of having to pay $20 to experience a crowd. Most people from other states would call this a pond.

It was a good get away from the Tucson heat but ever since the new marijuana law took place the park reeks of it. I have a hard time explaining to my 6 yr old why the smell is so bad. And due to covid no running water to wash hands and use the restroom only port o potties which is less then sanitary
