I don't understand the negative reviews posted here. I am a town resident and I have eaten many, many times at the Apple Farm. I regard it as one of the best restaurants in town, with very good food at very reasonable prices. No it is not a fancy city restaurant; it's a small town restaurant but a very good one of the ilk. The service is small town friendly, not city polished.nIf you eat here, for breakfast try the Farmer's Hash or the apple buckwheat pancakes. For lunch I particularly like the Tropical Chicken Salad. For dinner you can't beat the $9.99 multi-course meal; I particularly love the honey fried chicken. And if you are one of those who like liver and onions, Apple Farm makes a really good liver and onions.nIf I want a gourmet meal, I drive to Tucson. If I want the best food in town at amazingly low prices, I eat at the Apple Farm and love it.

I moved to Benson last year and I frequently go to Apple Farm for breakfast or dinner. The food is good country cooking nothing really fancy but I have always found their service to be excellent and the food tasty. My favorite breakfast is Bacon and Eggs with Biscuits and Gravy or the Farmer's Hash. For dinner the honey fried chicken dinner is my favorite and their 5-course meal for only $9.99 which includes dessert are a great value. This is not gourmet cooking but it is good home style food.

The owners Phil Colombo and Ofelia Scholl of the now called Farmhouse restaurant are unprofessional & rude towards customers and employees. They don't pay their employees on time nor treat them fairly. Ofelia yells at customers making dining there very uncomfortable. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!!

No longer on Ocatillo. Currently just east of Wal-Mart on 4th. Food was good. Service was good. Decor is good. But the attitude of the server (owner?)was cold making the experience unpleasant. Probably won't return. (There was a sign in the window advertising for experienced servers. Good idea.)
