This is a fun hike that is great for families with kids that are a little older. It’s not very strenuous but it is long so bring water or a water filter - there are some streams along the way.nThe views are beautiful and it offers the right amount of shade for spots to take breaks out of the sun.nMy kids were not as impressed by the tree as much as my wife and I but after we explain the 1500 year old history of the tree, I feel like they had a better appreciation of it.

Best winter hike yet! I love this one in the winter because it's not a bumpy and you can really cruise!

This is easily my favorite trail in Logan canyon. It's pretty long, but there are tons of rewarding viewpoints along the way. The first is about 3 miles in, so if you don't want to hike 10 miles, you can turn around at that one and end up with a 6 mile hike. The total elevation gain is decent, but it's a pretty consistent grade the whole way, so it's very doable. 10/10 you should hike this.
