Beautiful hike and fishing

We went mid July, we got there at 8am the parking was already full. No one on the trail. It’s a one person trail. Take water. There are shaded spots but there was a patch that wasn’t and that was very hot even at 10am. It’s so nice you can see all the kayaks and people jumping into the water. We left at 11:30 and the parking and road to leave was insane. Be very careful and ready to wait a while. There is a shared bathroom but it wasn’t kept very nice.

Parking is a nightmare, and get ready for a trek through people setting up their day camp right in the main pathway to the water. You may consider parking near the dam if you're getting in the water.

Always love going up here any time of year. Great for any time of year depending on what activity you're looking to do.

It was great. Its my favorite hike so far in Utah. Very nice trail.
