I am giving Smith's a one star for the fact that during this Covid pandemic it seems that this store does not care about it's customers health and safety. Now I do understand that the public is not required to wear a mask in Vernal, but if you are going to require your employees to wear masks 1. Make sure that they actually wear them (4 were not during todays shopping, 2 had doctor's notes) 2. If the are going to come within the social distancing circle make sure they wear them correctly.nI was told by the assistant manager that they are not babysitters for their employees. YES YOU ARE THEY ARE YOUR EMPLOYEES!!!!! I have had to ask employees to cover their nose several times while shopping there.nSo if you don't mind risking your health and well being then by all means shop here and take a chance, But for me and my family we will be going somewhere a bit more professional and for my friends, I will suggest to them to do the same.

A lot of staff not wearing masks (the girls atnCheckout were) and virtually none of the customers were wearing masks. I wonder if the staff washes their hands, if they don’t believe in germs? How absolutely disgusting.nnPlease try to care about your community, and not just about money.

Went there today through the self check out and a specific worker was very rude. Waited about 5 minutes to get help with coupons, and she would ask me to move out of her way with an attitude. Very irritating and I think the worker should be told something.

I love this store and it's staff! Especially the meat counter crew! The only reason I do not rate this store 10 stars is because I feel like corporate lets the store get run down looking. It is always clean, but it needs a face lift terribly. The parking lot also needs some help. I swear I have a new ding every visit. Compared to other Smith's and Kroger stores, I feel like my neighborhood Smith's doesn't get the support it deserves in upkeep.
