Biggest crawdads I've ever seen!! Like little lobsters. Delicious and fun to catch. I've caught 6-9 lb Rainbow and Cutthroat trout. There are monster lake trout, Bass and many other species. Suggest having a boat of some sort to explore. Recreate safely and PRACTICE COMMON SENSE! It is a big Reservoir and situations can turn dangerous very quickly.

This one needs more than five stars! Come and see why! Located in the NE corner of Utah by Colorado and Wyoming is the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area on the Ashley National Forest. We are known for our world renowned fly fishing on the Green River launching just below the Flaming Gorge Dam. There is hiking, biking, the Flaming Gorge Reservoir for all lake boating activities, hunting, ATV trails and the camping! So many outdoor activities in every season. The locals are pretty cool too. There are fireworks shows, car rallies, rodeos, fishing tournaments, Green River clean up and so, so much more! Come up for a visit any time!

It may be just me but fishing sucks, and you cant realy tent camp, but its still fun if you try. But its beautiful and scenic, and the waters are cool during late summer, agreat place to ice fish in the dead of winter, and on top of that nights are beautiful when its clear.
