Clayton Lake dinosaur tracks

Very cool fossils. Not handicap friendly. Gravel trail and steps.

Very disappointed! Went so far out of our way to see this only to be stopped at gate because we are non residents. Unfortunate that you could not mention that on this sight.

This is worth the drive to see. It's a little out of the way but the road is asphalt not difficult. The path to the tracks is about a quarter mile long and is handicapped accessible. There are around 500 tracks from several different dinosaurs fossilized in ancient mud. On the way to the tracks be sure to notice the extinct volcanoes you will be driving around. Prehistory at its best.

Came to visit on my 60th birthday and they kicked us out because we weren't New Mexico residents. I would not waste my time
