Prices aren't the best, but always stocked
I’ve actually seen cleaner restrooms in 50 year-old service stations. Really? I’m supposed to buy FOOD from these guys?
The Loveland Safeway is a smaller one located in the center of town. I really enjoy shopping here, as unlike entering the war zones at the other two major chains, here I can easily take my cart slowly up and down aisles, especially on Sunday mornings. Its allegedly a little more expensive, don't know, don't care, it lowers frustration levels.
Very clean store! Fruits and vegetables were so good. Meat department had great choices! Will definitely go back.
I shop off and on at Safeway, the downtown store. There was a time when I stopped as I didn't feel safe because of a large transient problem and the store became run down. Then in a hurry I stopped in there and the store was rearranged and clean and always someone around to help. On the way out I realized there was no longer a transient situation and I felt safe. So I now shop there often as it is close to where I live. Their produce department and the meat department are very good. And their sale prices are also very good. The employees are friendly and helpful. And I notice there are many more customers these days.
