While they had a line full of people, the did a shift change. The new cashier wasn't even ready to take over. Talking with another employee. Not a good experience. I really like the store in general.
Employees here are mask police like it’s March 2020. They seem genuinely scared of an unmasked mouth and get pleasure telling customers to put a mask on even though the mask mandate is about to be lifted in Fort Collins.nnAmazon Fresh from here on out.
Immediately upon entering an employee asks where my mask is. I tell him I have a medical condition. He backs off. I continue shopping and when I go to checkout there is a group of employees (and the manager) who say they can’t check me out since I don’t have a mask. I proceed to the self check out which took 20+ minutes and errors kept occurring. The same manager wouldn’t come clear the errors sayint “I can’t help you since you don’t have a mask on”.nnWhat a weird experience where all the Safeway employees stared at me like I was a criminal for trying to get groceries. I’ll never go back here.
I used to love this store. It was my weekly shopping store. After today and the way my daughter was treated I will drive out of my way to go to any other store for our needs.
Never ever crowded. Very clean. Exceptional staff. I love this place.
