Needs better lighting for people at night.
We found Colonial to be a good safe place to store our belongings. Easy access and great location. Owners were quick to respond when we needed to get a hold of them and always gave us great service.
Do not ask for proof of owner policies. You will be locked out with no access to your belongings. Research laws before before renting there. Very casual ownership which works if you ask no questions, no real maintenance done there, dust in storage unit constantly. No restroom, office never open, harassment by workers in the metal recycle place next door. It was very under market rate when I rented in 2012. Rents went up considerably with no improvements that I have seen. Apparently there are cameras now. I have not seen them. There were units with leaks which are now being repaired. I considered it storage but the business end is sketchy. It may work out for you. It worked for me before I started asking for policies.
No problems for us...owner always called us back if there was a problem. Flexiable about amount of time we needed our units...we were having a house built and since there were delays we needed to change our vacancy date. Owner was very understanding.... definately suited our needs. Easy access.
