Million Dollar Highway

One of the beautiful highways ever seen! It was winter in 2020, when I was there! All the mountains were covered with snow! Breathtaking scenes nearly at every half mile! But the roadways are bit narrow and has lots of curves high up on the mountains with no barriers at some places! While planning for the mesmerizing trip on this highway, please check the weather forecast first! Plan ahead, be safe and enjoy the best of nature!

One of the most scenic highway with spectacular views of San Juan Mountains. My favorite view point is at Molas Pass 10,912 ft elevation. From Durango to Silverton to Ouray the views will make your heart skip a beat at every turn.

An absolutely amazing stretch of road, especially in the fall. All of the Golden aspen seem to turn at once with many of the hillsides being almost completely bright yellow. All the switchbacks may make some sick and the lack of guardrails may cause others concern but just keep it on the road.
