Deb's Meadow

The meadow is lovely, an excellent destination after the most scenic of drives. I didn't see keep out signs so I tread lightly to get a photo of Chimney Rock. If you drive a little further to the pass, you'll see the giant rock that was a famous location in a different scene.

'Fill your hands you son of b!tch!' Site of the shootout in True Grit. I didn't go out in the meadow (although I would have liked to) because it is probably private property and not public land. You can make it up here in a car but you need to be a decent driver in some sections because the road is very rough near the meadow. I did it in a 2018 Toyota Camry (rental)

A must visit for any fans of Debbie Reynolds or John Wayne.
