Our family of 5 ate at The Eagle BBQ while skiing in the area. Eagle BBQ is a family friendly independently owned small business serving food that hits the spot. The chili was fantastic. My husband had the ribs which were tender with flavorful sauce (They have several different sauces to choose from and we bought a few bottles to take home as well). Very kid friendly. Great location, right next to the Eagle lift. The smoker on the patio provides for a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!!

We went to Copper Mountain which just opened for the 2020 season and found this great barbecue restaurant right next to the chairlift at the base of the mountain. Eagle BBQ has a huge sunny patio so you can eat outside or get takeout. We had lunch on the patio and great price and even better BBQ. After skiing, they have the best happy hour, beer was $4 half the price of the Copper owned restaurants. Then we called them for dinner and ordered take out great ribs, 5 star. The best part is the sauce, they have their own rubs and sauces- this is authentic Colorado BBQ all the way. Eagle BBQ is my new go to place at Copper Mountain, I have a season pass and have eaten at most of the places around the mountain and this is the best and has by far the best beer and drink prices.

I ski at Copper 20+ days a year. Eagle is the best spot to eat and drink at Copper: great food, great patio (seriously...better than Aspen), and great drink specials.nLocally owned (and the owner is THERE all the time). Support local!

This is a little hidden gem at Copper Mountain. Seriously one of the most delicious bbq spots I've had in Colorado. I came here one night after snowboarding with a few friends and hitting the terrain parks so we were running on empty as far as calories go. We decided to stop by and live a little. Boy, oh boy, did we live. I ordered the 2 meat platter consisting of brisket, ribs, and mac & cheese. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly to the point that it didn't even need BBQ sauce in my opinion. One of my friends got a brisket sandwich and the other a pulled pork sandwich - they both were raving about their selections. Anyways, if you're in the area and in the mood for BBQ - look no further - this is your spot.

Great food for the price. I had brisket with beans and my finacee had the friend chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was delicious and we were stuffed.
