The perfect place for full panoramic views around San Diego and beyond. Plenty of places to sit and eat, or climb the stairs for a good workout. We love to come here to watch the sunset. Parking can be hard to find but just keep driving around. A lot of people spend 30min or less here so usually someone is always leaving.

Great park with wonderful 360° views of the city! There’s a nice little dirt trail that loops around the top. Plenty of boulders, walls and benches to sit on to watch the sunset and/or take in the views. Not much parking at the top so always take the first spot you see! (And read the signs! Don’t be a butt by parking illegally.) I recommend parking in the dirt lot at the bottom of the mountain by the fire station. From there it’s a ~13 min walk up the road to the park, short but great workout! I go with my dog. Definitely worth a visit but please be respectful to nature and don’t leave your trash!!

Great little gem of a place. Unfortunately google maps directed us to wrong spot. Make sure you go to the park instead of an intersection! Signage directing traffic to the site were prominent. Very peaceful and great history surrounding the park. Well maintained and a port a potty!

A truly beautiful and breathtaking view. Includes a large amphitheater as seen in the general photos, a cute little trail to see the 360 views, benches to sit and eat, and some parking. The only struggle would really be parking as it is extremely limited. We went on a Thursday at around 1:30pm and it was already full but we got lucky as someone was leaving. I bet the sunset is gorgeous but we left before then.

Just had to go check out the visibility after the fires.
