I had recently found a decent trimmer and brought it in for a tune up. The gentleman at the counter was very knowledgeable about it, and assured me that work was minimal. They gave me a quote, I agreed, got a paper and waited. I called the day the paper said to call if I have not heard anything, and when they picked up, all they said was that a technician was working on it, and that I would get a call back. I didn’t get a call back, and this happened 3 different times. I ended up just picking up my trimmer because nothing had been done to it, no explanation as to why. I ended up dong the repairs myself at a fraction of what they quoted.

Checked out my mower, which I was unable to start-previously had work completed at Pacific Lawn Mower and had various components replaced. I couldn't start after that visit either. The guys could start at both facilities, but I evidently didn't have enough muscle to start? Although I had used this mower up until a couple of weeks prior to bringing it in for tune-up, suddenly my strength, or lack of, would not allow me to start the engine. Once I got the mower home, decided to do the wd40 in the recoil part of the pull cord. Well, hell!!! No problem starting, at all!!! Just want to share this frustrating little story for others having difficulty starting an engine---and maybe the maintenance staffs too. Sometimes just a little grease/oil? Just saying. Oh by the way--- very friendly staff at San Diego Small Engines. Would go back with other issues.

Brian and his team have saved our butts on several occasions. I highly recommend their service and would encourage anyone to head over there and see for themselves. They are honest, affordable, and quick when you are in need. I appreciate you guys!

Had a slight misunderstanding with a new employee that wrote their work tickets, he ended up signing me up for a repair rather than a quote. The work was done fast and the mechanics were very friendly and understanding of the miscommunication and assisted in a discount. I think that was good customer service and im happy to do business with this company.
