Lovely staff and good collection. Definitely worth the stop.

We went here with a group of cub scouts from pack 114 and it was a good time. I found out from their wildlife education center that my son loves snakes because they have a neat room where kids can touch a few animals and even hold snakes! They had a really nice display of taxidermy from area wildlife throughout the facility and an active beehive that bees can come and go to make honey. Really cool. They have trails that you can hike as well, which is what we did while we were there. If you are a nature lover and you find yourself in the area, check it out. there are plenty of things to see.

1st time paddling the creek. Had a blast. Pioneer Village is a walk through history. Definitely a must see and the wildlife resource is well taken care of. Alot of dedicated volunteers open the village and wildlife center on the weekends. Worth the drive to check it out.

bird and other animal exhibits well done. staff very friendly. However, the add-on part of the building is not wheelchair accessible!

Wonderful place to visit and learn about local flora and fauna. Friendly staff willing to educate about nature and the environment. Great place to take the kids for an afternoon in the park. Don't forget to visit the settlement village.
