Had to return multiple times to fix the issue. It took over 2 months to fix when we were told originally it would take a week. The one good thing is when we paid initially they didn’t continue to charge for additional work to fix the issue.nnUPDATE :12/23/20nMy wife and I are being harassed by the owner Bob Lowry and his employee Tom Palte. They keep calling us from a blocked number asking us to take our review down. I am very troubled and disappointed by their behavior. I have never dealt with a business so unprofessional. The review that I left was fair and honest, but it seems like they do not want to take responsibility for their actions. So consumer be warned. I will update again if there are any changes.

Took a little longer than expected but no complaints! Got my Explorer back today and it drives like its brand new. Beyond happy with the results! Thank you to Tom and the guys at Brownies Transmission.

We just moved to Kettering and needed new rear breaks on our minivan. I know this is a transmission shop and I called because the location was close to us. I found the manager Tom really knowledgeable and was happy to hear they work on more than just transmission repair. They were able to change our brakes affordably and get me us back on the road the very next day!

Two years ago I took my truck into brownies to have the transmission resealed. It took them 2 Days in total to have it completely done. My husband took his Mercedes into brownies 2 months ago, they told him that would take one week to have his car completed, and it is still sitting in their shop. Thank God we had other transportation. As far as their pricing goes, for the service you get in the time you have to wait, I personally believe over $4,000 is a little steep to replace a torque converter.
