Was definitely worth a visit. You can go all through the bunker. We loved it. Beautiful ocean views.
Old Military Base/Camp. If you are into abandoned places or places with ruins, thos is for you. The views are gorgeous atop the camp. A lighthouse and different islands. Small cemetary along side the camp, if your into that (I love these types of finds). Also a tower that is fenced in. Enjoy and may the Lord keep you safe :)
I really enjoyed visiting this park. It’s hidden away and not very large in size overall, but a fun part of history to check out. You can walk all around and inside the first. Beautiful view from the top too. And it’s free. The scenic drive is part of the fun. Great for older kids. Not so safe for very young kids. Maybe 6 or older.
Fort Revere Park is small and has some excellent views of Brewster Islands and lighthouses, Boston, and the south shore, with several picnic tables to help visitors relax with a book, company, and/or a meal.nnHowever, all of the historical structures on-site have been vandalized, especially with spray paint, making it much harder to appreciate the history of this park. Some rooms are very dark and could be described as downright spooky. It's also in need of structural repair.
Will never grow tired of visiting this place. I've been going here ever since I was a little girl with my dad and brother and it never grows old on me. I love coming here during the summer especially because not only do you get the warm weather and beautiful sun, but you have goregous scenery everywhere you look. And the forts itself are super cool to just get lost in. Highly recommend visiting this place if you haven't yet.
