Firestone Complete Auto Care

I purchased a battery at this location after reviewing prices from 5 other businesses. I called ahead to ensure they had the battery I was after, verified it was a good price, and made sure it was ok if I swapped out the battery myself in the parking lot. I arrived within a short period of time (20 minutes), and when I arrived Frank had zero interest in helping me. Although I spoke with Tommy over the phone & he wasn’t present when I arrived, Frank just did not want to help me. Considering the situation & the information I provided, it was a very simple and profitable task. All Frank needed to do was type in the part number for the battery I gave him, create an invoice with the information I also gave him, deliver the battery, & process the transaction. Instead Frank decided that I wasn’t important and proceeded to help 3 other customers that had arrived and/or called after I had arrived in the waiting room. Frank said four things to me during the 30 minutes I spent at his store: “how can I help?”, “I don’t see you on the schedule”, “Tommy will help you with that battery”, and “wow”. Frank said wow after I had waited for 3 other customers to be helped in front of me & after Frank said that Tommy was going to help me although Frank had no customers at the time. I chose to ignore Frank and not even make eye contact with him because he upset me. Frank’s response to the problem he created was “wow”—an absolute disregard to take any responsibility whatsoever for his actions & in turn hold me accountable instead. At this store I felt like a nuisance, I received no acknowledgment of the wrong doing that occurred to me nor did I receive an apology or any attempt to repair. I myself attempted twice to make amends & both attempts failed. Frank’s evident disinclination is disappointing to say the least considering he wears the title STORE MANAGER. What was once a place I found comfort in as both a previous employee and now a returning customer, has now gained the well deserved conscious title of “do not return”.

On the phone, they said only $10-20. After everything’s done, they charged $30 for the same service. Also, the mechanic is trying to help at all.

Everything was smooth and I was in and out quickly (had to get one tire put on)...the staff member was also helpful by setting the TV channel to a kids channel for my daughter.
