I used to volunteer here when I lived closer. Everyone is kind and super informed. The wolves are taken care of very well until released and have plenty of room. The ambassador wolves love their job, and are still respected as a wild animal, not anthropomorphized. You will learn a lot! Money goes to a good cause and I have to say hearing a wolf howl in real life is a blood chilling experience, that everyone should have at least once in their life.

Was blown away by our time here! Went for the regular afternoon program with Joe as our guide who was wonderful. Stayed for the mating and dating event with Regan and were blown away— was a full moon, snowing and the wolves started howling. Could not have planned a better experience!!! Both Joe and Regan were knowledgeable, passionate, pleasant and very in love with their jobs and co-workers (the wolves!!). Would recommend this to friends and family. Quick trip from Manhattan and nearby Katonah offers cute options for a nice post wolf wine stop!! Keep doing what you’re doing WCC- it’s wonderful!!
