Lake George Mystery Spot

We drove several hundred miles just to visit and as silly as it might seem we had a lot of fun here. Beautiful scenery and an interesting phenomenon if you stand in the spot, face the lake and speak up. Would love to come back in the summer when the town is alive. Great winter stop in a picturesque location.

Quite weird and hard to explain but my best words would be, like your in a very small box and u hear yourself repeat almost like an echo but very quickly after u say it, like your speaking double. This only works if u stand perfectly

It is an interesting place to stop when you're walking through downtown Lake George. Gardens around the Mystery Spot are nice.

I passed this spot multiple times on my trip and every time had to go on the X and test it out. You don't even have to yell!

Cool stop while you're exploring Lake George!
