Taughannock Falls Gorge Trail

In truth, I would rather give this a 3.5. People often tell me how beautiful it is, so I went. Do not get me wrong, there were some nice spots and it is a great walk for people as active as me. But that is all, nothing breathtaking.

Great view

Giving it a 5 star ..it was a random find, much of an exploratory spot along the route.nHowever, the falls looks gorgeous. We were lucky to find enough water in the falls.. usually its less.nnAnyways it was a good spot and a great stop. Do stop by and enjoy the view.nnIt wont be a disappointment.nnLets enjoy all that tbe nature has to offer.nnThere is a public parking spit right by the falls overlook and a small snack shop with restroom. The shop was closed, so we could access the restroom though.nnEnjoyy the pictures!!!!

The trail to the Falls is about 3/4 a mile and easy to traverse. There is always unspoiled nature to see, then you come to the magnificent falls.

Trails were well maintained. We were able to see the Falls from the top and at the base. Sunshine helped, however watch for this making the trail ice more slippery.
