Great opportunity to step back in history and walk in the footsteps of Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Standing where she stood and looking out at the neighborhood she called home, you cannot help but be in awe of the world she helped to change.

It was closed when we visited but it was worth it driving by to pay tribute to an important figure in the women's rights movement. You can walk around, read the historical markers to learn more about Stanton and her life-long advocacy for women's rights, and even take a peek from the porch to see what the rooms inside the house look like. There's a small parking spot close by and you can take a short walk to the nearby lake and enjoy scenic views.

Susan, the park ranger who gave the talk, was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions!! So much women's history in Seneca Falls!

House was closed while we were there. But peacefully sat on the front porch soaking in the women's movement energy from almost a 100 years ago! Women's right to vote 1920. Wouldn't it be something to elect a woman to the presidency 100 years later in 2020. Vote!
