Saratoga Escape Lodges & RV Resort

We do like this campsite. There's some nice trails through the woods. Its clean, and the staff is helpful, sometimes go out of their way to help. The pool is nice with a splash area for the little ones too. But the absence of sewer for rv's becomes a problem many days. Its certainly much more convenient for campers to have sewer hook ups at their sites. We were told by Buddy back in May they were working on putting sewer in the campsite for next year...hopefully that's the case.

This place was horrible. We visited twice and paid for tents sites just to find out there is no designated tent site. We had to move our tents each time we visited after fully setting up our tents, with no consideration. They are more fully prepared for RVs than tents. The bathrooms are not clean and you do not get what you pay for. Do not waste your money!!!

This has been by far the worst camping experience I've ever had. I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially with children. We(myself, fiance and two young daughters) camped in a tent on our family's site. The people next to us were up blasting music, setting off fireworks, cursing, screaming(at their children), playing beer pong until 3 am. When confronting the group of 25 people to please quiet down... we have young kids that need to sleep, they told us we were not members, kids shouldnt camp, etc. They spitefully set off more fireworks and kept up the noise for a few more hours. It sounded like a bar full of drunk people. This was two nights in a row. We ended up getting 3 hours of sleep total. When we called the office to complain, there was no answer. Obviously these people get away with it! Quiet hours are NOT enforced here! I've never met more inconsiderate, rude people in my life. We packed up and left a day early(so did our other neighbors) because we knew it would be another night of NO sleep!!! The playground is run-down, there were no bathrooms except by check-in(doesn't help a pregnant woman like myself) and there was no sewer hookup. We had to call and ask multiple times to get a picnic table brought to our site. This place is very misleading. My cousin told me when they arrived they were told they had to choose a site and there were only 3 left. Apparently it is first come, first serve. They were never told that when they made reservations. Some of the sites were flooded too. Don't waste your money on this place! It is not worth the aggravation and losing sleep over!!!!!

Place has sooooo much potential. It’s a shame that it’s clearly run by campground owners that don’t want to be campground owners. ZERO pride in their facilities and work. The worst communication I’ve ever received from just about any business.nHowever. I can’t wait to go back!!!!nI will too, one day when it’s taken over by people who know and care about what they’re doing. It shouldn’t be too long as this ownership is perfectly executing a going out of business plan.nUntil then, Ill spend with Alpine Campgrounds nearby. It’s a place that’s run right by people who actually take the fact that they’re providing you services and amenities for your vacation dollars very seriously. The ownership at SE clearly just wants to be absentee landlords and not campground managers.nnNote: beware ... had a friend cancel a reservation there well within policy. Has been lied to for years about his refund.

Went for a tour in sept, signed up covid happened and we were skeptical to go anywhere with crazy restrictions well this place was wonderful. Reviews had me worried for sure, first come first serve had me worried but it all played out very well very happy with our time here !! Pleasant experience.
