Whispering Pines Campsites & RV Park

This is a great local Campground. They're doing a wonderful job of keeping people socially distance during these crazy times, while enjoying the Great Outdoors. Scott the owner goes out of his way to accommodate you in a safe manner. We were just there for a few day getaway and will definitely come back.

Even during COVID this place and the people who checked us in is very warm, friendly, professional. We have found a new place to camp!ud83dude0a

Staying at Whispering Pines was an average, yet pleasant, experience. It was very quiet even though most of the campers (us included) were there for a concert. The campsites were nicely spaced and flat. The management was very accommodating. I have rated the campsite three stars because the facilities/main office are in dire need of an upgrade. Bathroom stalls don't have locks on them apart from the ones in the laundry building. The toilets are very low pressure and clog easily. Only some of the showers have hooks installed on the walls for hanging towels/cloths, and to be honest, one single hook is just not enough to hold everything...how much does a hook cost, like $2..the showers were quite dirty but that could have been due to all the wooks ud83dude09 Lastly, the pool is great, but it has strange hours (opens around 10am and closes at 6pm well before dark)...even though there's no life guard and is only 5ft deep. Would definitely stay here over Lee's, just don't get on the owner's bad side.
