Very disappointing. I grew up in this area and in these woods, fishing, swimming, hiking, and enjoying the beauty of it all. Was always one of my favorite spots. Today I went to the sanctuary w my dog for a hike. There was trash everywhere. Looks like a party spot for underage kids or people that have no respect for others. Don’t have an issue w anyone having a good time, but for God’s sake, pick up after yourselves.nPicked up as much as the trash I could and left.
Great place to walk. Good views of silver lake. Ample parking. Usually quiet.
Nice place to walk...
This place doesnt have an obvious sign anywhere with the time its open and closed, i went walking at sunset for the beuatiful views of the lake, i come back to my car and as im leaving police show up and i get in trouble for being there after hours when there's no sign anywhere i wouldnt recommend plus there are ticks all over the place
