The Country Place Resort

I have called the hotel to book a room 4 separate times and each time it was we have a large group coming and please call back the next week to check on availability. The last time I called the owner (women) said there was not availability and hung up without even discussing options / future dates. Very bad experience.

This place was nice for a quick weekend getaway w kids. The food definitely needed improvement. Overall it was a nice weekend. small water park also had a little pond for fishing and you were sure to catch fish. great for small kids.

Our stay was excellent because Shama and her staff made sure that it was. They were attentive, accommodating, and even made exceptions for us. Their care is individualized to their clientele, and the setting is beautiful. It IS a country place, aptly named, and yet, it has all of the comforts of home - plus a zoom flume! We will be back, for sure!

We had a fantastic stay! The food was wonderful, and the kids enjoyed the nightly activities. The room we stayed in was across the wave pool; we had such a beautiful view of the lake, my son and I were able to go fishing. Definitely worth coming back!

The workers were absolutely the best. But when it came to the owners not at all friendly. Nor have any type of professionalism when it comes to people who stay in their resort. They make it a process to rent a room. Like you literally got to beg them to get back to you. Only thing that I give this two stars was there two young employees and that zoom flume is close. Their are plenty of other resorts around there that has better characters then unfortunately a resort I grew up going too
