Nonna's Pizzeria

We ordered a pizza from here for the first time last night. I've been trying to talk my husband into ordering from here for weeks! We are on a quest to find the best pizza in town. This pizza was actually pretty good! Until I found two separate chunky black hairs in two different slices of our pizza baked under the cheese. I know things happen, but TWO. It was beyond gross. I feel bad leaving this review but when health and safety is at the forefront of everyone's mind this is inexcusable.

Disclaimer, I do not know nor am I related to anyone from Nonna’s. Ashamed to say I’ve driven by Nonna’s for years and never tried it. Like most people I have my old faithful places I go and usually stick to it. Tonight I decided to give them a try, figure anyone who has been in business longer than I can remember must be doing something right. Pizza was great, piping hot, nice dough that browned and crisped excellent, cup n char pepperoni, good mozzarella and a nice sauce, not overly seasoned with a nice hint of garlic. Also got the bbq pit wings which also we great. Reminded me of the first place I ever got pit wings from. WillnDefinitely be going back. Also when you see the owner working by himself on a Friday night taking pride in his product, I’m happy to support a business like that.

Good pizza, reasonable prices. Kind of on the lighter side compared to most Buffalo places, which I personally like. Tasty crust.
