DXL Big + Tall

After our experience in this location, I will never recommend to anyone they shop here. Upon arriving, we were promptly told “they didn’t have anything for us”, not because we were shopping for larger sizes but because the employee made a snap decision without learning what we were looking for. After trying on two pairs of pants in the correct size, and deciding they weren’t what we were looking for, we were told that next time, we should know what we want before coming in because now those two pairs of pants could not be sold! While in the store, there was only one other customer who also left without buying a single item. Thank goodness for the fabulous employees at Carhartt next door, they were friendly, helpful and we found ourselves buying three pairs of pants and four shirts. I can say, I’ll never recommend this store to anyone, no matter what their size needs may be!

Giving them 1 - star, based on the lack of customer service. Placed an order online for pick-up at store next day.. It said it was available. Next morning I received an email saying order had been canceled because item was not available. Went into store and found same shirt, just a different sleeve length. The guy at the store was nice enough, he said that he was the one who canceled the order do to lack of availability, and that he was not given any contact info, for me and no way to contact me to see if something different would work. Despite the fact, that when placing the online order it asked for all my personal information in cause they needed to contact me? (First Red Flag) Then he rang us up and we were charged about $7.00 more for the same shirt than I had paid the day prior online during Cyber Monday. It isn’t the money, but the principal & the compete lack of customer service. (Second Red Flag). When I contact DXL customer service, I was passively dismissed, and told that my order hadn't qualified for the Cyber Monday sale, and yet, I still paid $7.00 more at the store than my online receipt? (Third Red Flag). Then customer service disconnected my chat, with no resolution, nor explanation! (Fourth Red Flag) I'm not speaking to the quality of their merchandise because that I don't know yet. But, the store should have honored the price I paid online. The store was the ones responsible for their inventory, saying it was available. Customer Service should RESOLVE issues, not just give an "I'm Sorry" then basically hang up on you!!! So Buyer Beware, this company has HORRIBLE Customer Service, should you ever need it. Guess it's time to find some where else to shop that actually wants my business and offers Customer Service.

Place is the absolute best if you are of larger size. They have tons of name brand stuff in sizes that actually fit and the employees are always incredibly nice and helpful. I have never had a bad experience. The clothes are a little pricey but again they are name brand stuff that are normally pricey in regular sizes anyway. It's the only place I go for big and tall clothes.

I ordered some dress pants a few weeks ago and we had to return them due to the order not being correct. The Manager (Kevin) took care of us and made sure our order was corrected and triple checked the information so that there would be no further mistakes. Even helped us save some money. For sure will be back for future business.

Fran is the absolute best! She catered to all of my families needs and was very patient. She answered every question that we had without gripe, we really appreciated her and all of the help she had for us. Thanks Fran we will definitely be back.
