I'm an introvert, and Loved Joes! Is was a truly good season especially with current events, and nothing but a great experience in July and August. The owner's are truly a humble couple that keep everyone well informed, and feeling relaxed throughout the duration of ones stay. Very Clean location, and safe...can't wait til next season!

I have had nothing but amazing times here. The seasonal group is awesome, same with the staff. Clean and safe campground. I will definitely be back.

Joe’s Hideaway was a great place to get away this summer. It was busy for the weekend so I was placed in the overflow tent area which was extremely close to the bath house.nnIt is smaller than other gay campsites that I’ve been to, but definitely not less fun.nnMost of the campers were the residents and made me feel extremely welcome through my long weekend.nnBecause of Covid certain areas were restricted or with an adjusted time.nnWhen I did have one major concern about another camper in the overflow field, the management addressed it quickly.nnSuggested wishlist for coming years would be WiFi for the campground and possibly start making some trails around the campground if space allows.nnLooking forward to coming back.
