Nice little walking loop of 1.5 miles. During the mid-october, the colors were dazzling! You'll get colorful foliage if you can get the timing right.
It was an easy little trail. Unfortunately a little repetitive as far as scenery, but a good walk to teach kids about conservation.
The food here is fabulous. If you like BBQ, you must try their awesome food.
Family friendly trail. Mostly canopied for cooler trek. Some benches and trail signs to take your time exploring.
Trail is beautiful!nnSmall note for 2020: due to the world wide pandemic, do not expect to use a bathroom anywhere in the white mountains. Every bathroom is closed, even in season. There are no porta potties either. Once you get to the first few stores out of the Kanc, those are also, not for public use. So just a small tidbit for anyone that might have to go, on the go.
