This place is a beautiful network of well maintained trails. The writer here is amazing. Wide, gently sloped trails nice for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Hats off to the forestry pros and volunteers.
I love nature. I’m always out and about attempting to summit mountains and hike new trails. This trailhead is not different than all of the amazing trailheads I’ve visited. Lovely, breathtaking nature scenery, in your face chaotic wilderness. Need to get out. Need the sun and everything else that comes from being out there in the somewhat wild.
Awesome was great. Been here in the spring and winter, nice walk and scenary. Took the kids along in a sled which they loved.
Parking was $5. Trailhead was easy to find. There are public restrooms which were very nicely maintained. The bridge was cool and there are many trails to choose from. Bonus: my significant other found this cool heart shaped rock.
Great trail along the river. Well maintained. Even in the winter the snow was packed and easy to walk on.
