I went in for a simple oil change. However, they couldn't get the drain plug off (which I've now heard from others is a common thing there). They replaced the filter and topped it off but couldn't change the oil. Then one of them stalled my car (it's a standard/manual) and after that it wouldn't start. It had been starting/running fine before that. It can only be started now by roll starting it which they did show me how to do (apparently trying to jump start it wasn't working). While they didn't charge me for anything and were all as helpful as they seemed to know how to be, I went in for a simple oil change and not only left without the oil changed but also with my car not starting normally anymore...[Update: apparently my starter chose that moment to die and so it may have had nothing to do with Walmart techs, but it's all still weird]

Was below average. Service counter was partially trained, there were costs added on at the counter, I scrapped the entire transaction after being told that it would take 5 hours to get my pre-ordered studded tires studded mounted and balanced. Then was told they couldn't put them on my car...my personal impatience with ineptitude causes me to avoid this place usually, due in part from ineptitude and sub par service. Thank you for reaffirming my hypothesis

Went to get a simple oil change @ 8 a.m. as soon as they opened. Was told no because they are now only doing tires on saturdays. Nobody was even there and it only takes 20 mins to change oil. I have called before to make an appointment and was told they dont do appointments and to just show up, so thats what i did and get told its only tires today. No signs saying that, nothing. And the burner is that nobody was there getting tires done

Called to check hours and services, I was told it was still first come first serve. It is not, you now need an appointment. Waited by the auto register for half an hour while they set up, only to be told I couldn't get my Walmart purchased tires on for another two weeks. I returned the tires and went to VIP. Jeremy, an auto tech at VIP was very nice and fit me in to his busy/full day. Go to VIP right around the corner.

I do all my tire and oil changes here. They have always been friendly, fast, and the price can't be beat. Same day, drop in service never seems to be a problem. It's worth the 50 minute drive for me. I haven't had the same happy experience at the auto center in Derby, VT.
