This is definitely a challenging hike as most of the trail fees like you are walking up stairs (about 1,500 vertical foot incline). Take small baby steps and before you know it you will be on top! The hiking path is very clear and you will remain in the woods until you get to the top. From the top (we only went to Doublehead Cabin) you will see some amazing views!nnMy daughters and I also saw a beautiful black bear! So just a heads up there is a tiny chance wildlife will say hi to you :)nnAs always, if you see any rubbish please pick it up and help keep this forest looking majestic!
Solitude. Heavenly. Some tough scrambles coming up. Good knees and mental focus needed coming down.
Perfect hike - short, steep, and great views. Took us 2 hours total with a few short water breaks.
Wish I could live here! Peaceful and cozy. Perfect get away
Quiet and great views from the South Peak. Pretty steep but manageable in around 3 hours with a few stops.
