If you’re looking for the perfect mountain for New England for your average non-hiker family, this is it. It offers a ton of reward in beautiful views for a climb that won’t break you. It can be done in a couple hours by your average kid - retiree. Dogs are common, technically they should be on leash but off leash is tolerated it looks like. 4000 footers are great but this may be the best bang for your buck.

I hike this at least once a week with my dog. Great views for a moderate effort - excellent hike that we can do in the mornings and still have a full day! About 45 minutes from seacoast NH.

Been here multiple times in the summer and this is a first for the winter.nnThe trails are pretty easy we took blue up all the way, about 3/4 of the way it gets a bit icy, we had spikes and highly suggest the same especially for the way down.nnThis is also accessible via snowmobile which we learned this year so for those that do, get some trail riding in to some spectacular views.
