To see airplane's at this years event with them landing and taking off from the ice on the lake was an awesome thing.
Nice warm spring day to take your lunch to Alton Bay and use the picnic tables near the water's edge for a noontime break.
Nice spot. Too bad the sun wasn't out. The ice fishermen were out with their huts, but why? There was open water right there, so the ice couldn't be safe. SMH.
I’ve been coming to Alton Bay and sitting on the grassy area between the ramp and the dock all my life. I’m So disappointed to see that the wall is starting to cave in a bit and the handrail has been taken out for us older people that love to get in the lake. With the no trespassing sign up there’s really nowhere for me to get into the water anymore. Such a disappointment! Are there any plans to reinstall the handrail into the lake?
