Nice, clean campground in the Pawnee Grasslands. The campground host takes up each spot everyday. No electric or sewer service but there is water seasonally. The pit toilets are clean as you could expect for a pit toilet. Great spot for birders, there is a signage tour you can take around the site. Two group campground are available but are closed now due to the pandemic. I took one star off because if the flies, they bite in July and August. We come here every year, great season opener spot.
Small campground. Several short walking trails. Good place for bird watching in the sprin.
I always loved this place and I look forward to going back each year.
Nice out of the way primitive campground. Sites are well spaced, fire rings and BBQ pits were brand new! No fresh water when we were there (Covid?), but the price was reduced to compensate. Vault toilets were very clean and we'll stocked! Awesome place to relax for a day!
A great small campground. Good spacing between most of the campsites, and most have good shade. Bathroom facilities were clean.
