This place used to be the best place to go for kids on MEA weekend. Now, after four years we have to tell our daughter that they won’t let us camp there because they are no longer public. I wish we never camped there in the first place. Horrible people!
Private, quiet, beautiful. Not too far, but just far enough. Nice pool. Nice cabins.
We had an awesome weekend camping! The pool was broken, which was a bummer, but it sounds like staff has been working hard to repair. They put out water games on this hot day and the kids (and adults) had a blast. We LOVE the huge and private sites. We will be back!
My family and I have been going to this campground for 28 years over MEA weekend, but due to the policies from the new owners this will most likely be the last year we will be camping at this place. I love this campground and have been going there almost my whole life, but the new owners have essentially told my family that we aren't welcome at this campground. The new resort is only concerned about making money, not about making memories for their clients.
Very friendly staff was knowledgeable and courteous. Only problem we have encountered has been using full hookups. Better bring an extra hose for both water and sewer. Water points are on a T share with neighboring site, electrical is in opposite corner of lot. Sewer hookup I need about 25' of hose to hit. Will have to back up rig into neighbors site to use later.
