Our son had been taking piano lessons here for a few years now. Scott is very experienced and patient with kids who get distracted easily but also knows how to be firm in a good way to get kids back on track when they get frustrated. He is very good with ADHD kids and also enjoys working with special needs kids in a comfortable home setting. He offers additional child discounts and will be happy to teach the parents too. He also offers voice lesions, which my daughter did for a summer and learned a lot before her interests moved on to other things. He does a great job at trying to make the music a personal experience by teaching from your kid's favorite songs mixed with fun blues scales instead of the traditional boring scales that drive kids nuts.
