Up a Creek Campground

We arrived at the campground on Thurs afternoon, paying for full hook up. Within a couple hours, our electricity went out leaving us without A/C on a 90+ degree weekend. When we approached the owner about how long it would take to get the power back on, we were told to go ask the electricians that were working on fixing it. Ummmm.... shouldn’t the owner be doing that? Over the weekend our power went out at least 6 times. Not knowing if our AC would be working limited our activities since we couldn’t be certain our dog would be safe in the camper. We were told this is expected in such hot weather and we shouldn’t run anything else off electricity other than our A/C. Again, we paid for full hook up. When we approached the owner about a discount when checking out, she said she would have considered it, but didn’t like the way another member of our group reacted when told they had to move sites (after being completely set up for over a day) because they told them the wrong site when they checked in. HORRIBLE customer service and would not recommend to anyone!nnFollow up - a member of our family had to stay at the camper while we enjoyed the pool to make sure our dog was safe. I have never had an issue with electricity in all my years of camping due to the weather. Time to fork out some money to upgrade your system! As a business owner- I would think you would have more professionalism and provide better customer service than you did.

We had a seasonal at 50 Lakes for 12 summers. Haven't been back in 2 years and we were blown away by all the amazing updates and positive changes made! The new owners are doing a great job and are extremely kind and friendly. We had 1 minor issue and Michelle was there right away making sure things were taken care of. Can't ask for more than that! We love it here!

We chose to come to Up a Creek for our annual family camping weekend and We all had a blast! Lazy river tubing so much fun! Park for the little kiddos along with a basketball hoop, game room and pool for all ages! I only wish the game room park and pool could stay open a little longer but it’s okay..nWe will definitely come back again! Oh and the owner she was so friendly with great hospitality!!!

We had the chance to stay at Up A Creek last weekend and what a wonderful experience we had. My dad and I were heading north for a fishing weekend and with every resort being closed, still needed a place to stay. That's when we found Michelle. She was so accommodating and helped us book only a few days before our check-in date. She greeted us with a big smile, remembered exactly who we were upon checking in and made us feel like family. You would think we had been camping there for years! We would gladly recommend Up A Creek to anyone and absolutely stay with them again. :)
