Everything I got was delicious and unique. The Italian Job omelette and Falafel wrap were delicious but the Irish poutine was so strange and flavorful it took the prize for me.

Any true Pho-natics or Vietnamese food lovers out there? My first and long overdue review of Double Horse Bistro on here. We've been going to the DHB since they opened over 2 years ago. I have worked my way through their entire menu and have yet to find anything less than exceptional or inconsistent.nToday's treat : Pho oxtail, Vermicelli with beef, Pushcart Summer rolls. My in-laws are Vietnamese, southern to be specific. We're from Garden Grove Cali. Since moving to MA, we have literally tried every pho place in Randolph, Quincy, Dorchester, Boston, RI and most recently on our trip to NY such as the highly acclaimed Hanoi House and Madame Vo in Manhattan. Even my mother in law whom I actually get along with, makes the best pho at home. It's a known fact that every place uses msg in their broth to various degrees, including my mil. The broth at DHB is night and day the best. It's all about the bones and technique, no msg here, none better or more consistent. Their broth is highly curated and refined, rich and so aromatic you have to take a long sniff before diving in. Love how they neatly arrange and present all the condiments to go separately in a box and not in a plastic bag, wished every place does this. They roast the Pro tip : no need to add hoisin to the broth as you would normally do. Squeeze and stir the lime juice into the hoisin separately and dip your meat on the side while you're slurping away with both hands. The Vermicelli is one word, incredible. I like how all the veggies is perfectly julienned and not in big chunks, the nem (sausage patty) is straight up, no fillers. Cha gio is Vietnamese spring rolls and is very different from any other kinds, well made and flavored with the correct ingredients. The meats are charbroiled not flash fried like most places. The nuoc mam sauce is strong and authentic to the core, not just sweet and tangy, so pour that all over and slurp away. The Pushcart rolls? It's edible crack, no way to explain it, just addicting.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. The second I walked in I was warmly greeted by the wait staff. I then looked over the menu and there were so many good choices it was hard to make up my mind and again the wait staff Hopped in to point out some favorites. I ended up getting the Hawaiian rice with a side of lobster Rangoon’s. I was absolutely blown away and I’m so impressed by this place. The food is incredible and I hear they serve breakfast as well so I’m coming back ASAP. ud83dudd25ud83dudd25ud83dudd25

I celebrated my birthday last night in this gorgeous place. I am glad to say that we passed a tremendous evening and the restaurant was no doubt one of the reasons for that successful celebration. The crew helped in a gorgeous style, the food was extremely good and my buddies were so overjoyed. We shall absolutely return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.
