I have been coming to this location since the day they opened. I love their smoothies and I usually have a great experience and interaction with the staff. Today was a lot different however, I waited in the drive through lane for roughly 15 minutes which I was okay with as I previously stated I love their smoothies. But when it was my turn the female employee on the other end of the speaker was snappy and rude as I ordered, when I pulled around to the window to pay she was not friendly whatsoever and again was snappy and short with me. I always make sure to treat all employees with respect and kindness in a drive through as I worked one for several years and I understand the stress. When I had finished the transaction, I thanked her and she gave me a very nasty side eye look. I couldn’t help but leave feeling not appreciated as a hardworking college student who chooses to spend my money on something that is normally a great experience for me. The whole situation was upsetting and I felt judged for no reason. I understand that everyone has bad days, but that should never carry over into how you treat customers.

I sent my niece to this location today to place in order because I’m in quarantine and first of all the lady who answered the speaker in the drive thru had a bad attitude and was rushing her. I was on the phone listening my niece order 2 large immune builder veggie superfood without bananas. Once she got to the window my niece asked if it was no bananas and she was told that it wasn’t bananas in the smoothie. When she dropped them off to me it had bananas. I’m allergic to bananas and I would break out if I ate them. I tried calling the store several times but got no answer. This was my first experience with smoothie king and my last.

I have been a Smoothie King customer since I lived in New Orleans years ago and frequented the Algiers store. I was so excited when Smoothie King opened in Livonia. Every Friday I treat myself to an Angelfood after radiation and j never had any problems. Until..3/26/21, with more than an hour before closing, I wait in line 15 min and find out at the speaker that there are no strawberries. Both the drinks I was purchasing contained strawberries! That’s a management ordering problem. It’s like Subway running out of bread! Plus, I was trapped and couldn’t exit because there were cars in front of and behind me. ud83dude22 Tried again today, 4/2/21. Ordered and when we got to the window, the young lady’s mask was under her nose, the young lady at the blender also wore her mask under her nose, and then lo and behold, the male manager wore his mask under his nose. Seriously??!?!!!!! Very, very disappointed. Not sure I’ll be going back next Friday. I may have to find another post-radiation treat someplace else.

I visit this location at least once a week since they have opened. For the most part service is great and the line moves pretty fast however over the last month or 2 the smoothies are inconsistent in terms of taste. 1 week it tastes great the next week it's horrible. I get the same thing every week. I assume there is a recipe to follow so I dont know if people are free styling it or what but I'm one more bad smoothie away from making another location my go to.
