Sherman’s Resort is the perfect up North getaway. It has everything you want for that U.P feeling. The cabins are perfect for a family of four . We enjoyed the beach with the kids as well as the peddle boat that came with the cabin. You can also rent a boat for fishing for the week if that’s your thing. My family and I was here not for the fishing but for that up north experience. We definitely got it all here at Sherman’s. Phil the owner was super nice and gave me tips on what was offered in the area for the kids. We loved every minute of our stay . We will definitely be coming back next year for our family vacation. Hopefully this will become a family tradition for years to come. I highly recommend spending your next family summer vacation at Sherman’s .

The owner, Phil, was great. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the fishing and the area. It was a very secluded and peaceful area. With the 4000 acre lake just a few steps away from our cabin we enjoyed fishing off the pontoon boat often. Several times in the early mornings we were the only boat on the lake. We also spent time just cruising around the lake on the pontoon. Other than the cabins being a little rundown it was a very enjoyable week.

Awesome place to sit and relax by or on the water ..nOwner is very nice and accommodating..nWe are renting a cabin again for next year !

Rustic cabins, fishing wasn't much good but it rained all week.
