They've done a great job making this place better, and better!! I hope they continue too do so! It could definitely use a better handicapped hunting area to be sure...
Peaceful and nice trails. Mainly cranes, ducks, and frogs. Bring your bug spray. I cannot stress this enough! I'm from Texas and these mosquitoes have me impressed. Visitor center was closed. I might have given 5 stars if I'd been able to check that out too.
This place is great for duck hunting.. if you don’t mind sharing the spot with your fellow hunters. I can get pretty busy so make sure you’re there early early
FB is the place for me of course once the opening day has co.e and gone. Cool nature preserve and great boat ramps.
Nice area, had some nice trails. Saw a Pelican, many hawks, some falcons, ducks, herons, belted kingfisher, as well as a great heron rookery. Visitor center was closed due to Covid unfortunately.
