The trail is a little over 6 miles one way. It goes all the way to the top. It is a tougher trail in comparison to Adams canyon or Flag Rock. It is steeper than most trails along Bonneville. Great views though.

Beautiful hike can take you all the way to Francis peak it's a little bit more challenging but anyone can do it! 😁

Strenuous hike, will likely take 3 hrs to get to the crest (3.9 miles), then another mile to get to Francis Peak. Took me 2 hrs from Francis Peak all the way down, much easier than going up but a little rough on the knees. Got to cross the stream 2x on rocks, didn't get wet but I could see how it could happen if there is more runoff. Be prepared for more snow than you think at the top. Beautiful views

The trail head isn't well marked and there are a couple of ways to go. I ended up on a couple of side trails (out of curiosity) and I didn't have time to make it to the peak. (2 hours) The views over the canyon and river are beautiful. After a short distance up you loose the city and you can feel the outdoors and mountain surrounding you. A couple of places on the trail you have to duck low because of overgrowth. Additionally, there are a few places that the trail has partially washed out that make it a little skinny. In the end this trail is fairly easy and was not crowded with other hikers.

Great place to hike. It is steep, so probably not for smaller children. Beautiful scenery!
